Improveverywhere.com, a website my New Media Tech Christin turned me on to, needs to be seen. Charlie Todd, the founder of this wacky group fun, puts together these activities. I feel the need to participate at some point. It looks like a great time.
Christin has participated in the "Black Tie Beach" party (pictured above) where all attendees were instructed to visit a selected local beach en masse in formal evening wear and more recently in an Mp3 Experiment wherein the agents (approximately 4,000 participants) strap on their iPods, insert their earbuds, hit "play" simultaneously, and then follow the directions given on the recording. Hilarity ensues.
Apparently Mr. Todd has also co-authored a book on this topic. I need to check that out as well.
