Seriously, it's not an addiction

So we didn't have internet connectivity at home for 3 days, 4 hours, and 17 minutes.  But it's back now, and I'm ok....I'm fine.  Oh my god I'm one of them aren't I? I'm one of those who needs access, unfettered access, unfettered, high-bandwidth access?

It's truly amazing how dependent upon the internet you can become.  Is that good? Is that bad? Think for a moment, what did you do before you had the internet, before email, before Google, before FaceBook, before Twitter?

I think I read more (although I still read a lot). I believe I played with my kids (they're all grown up and either out of, finishing, or just getting ramped up for college), My wife and I probably talked more (Heck she's on the web more than I am).

Glad it's back.  But it was an interesting break.  You might give it a shot yourself, is all I'm sayin.
